(quoted from post at 16:54:06 01/21/11) i don't remember the price.
(quoted from post at 19:38:44 01/21/11) The stands that I have designed have wheels on both the front and rear units. I have not mastered the process of posting pictures but I can send them by e-mail. My e-mail is open, charlie
(quoted from post at 07:55:17 01/31/11) My borrowed stands are VERY similar to Rustyfarmall's, except mine have casters on the front stand as well.
Do you/can you split the tractor just like that with the engine in it?

Supposedly, Yes. I haven't yet tried it. The H in the picture was one of two that were being turned into ONE good tractor, and because of some issues with the front bolster on one of them, it wasn't as easy as just joining the front half with a good engine to the back half with a good trans/rear-end.

I have my MD apart right now and it is a little scary how much the engine sags. All the people I talk to say that is the way to do it. I took the big bolts that bolt the halves together and put them through the rear support plate to help take the stress off the front of the motor. I am just not sure how everything will go back together with the pieces at different angles. Give me another month and I should have your answer!
