That's a bad day! I have my MD starter tank off and I was thinking about coating it as well. The coatings get a pretty bad rap here on yt, but I think they are perfect for the way most folks use these tractors. If they were still "daily drivers" they would have full loads of fuel and not rust up. But the way we run them they may sit for a month then get used for a day then sit two more months. That is really hard on a gas tank. Also, nobody is going to fill a 20 gallon tank up to let the fuel get old. Most of these guys on the forum won't burn 20 gallons in one tractor before they die! Sorry for the rant, but it just bugs me.
