We have a Farmtrac 555DTC and the bolts holding pinion carrier came loose and ruined the pinion bearing. In the process of doing that it broke the snap ring groove for the ring that holds the bearing on. After several phone calls to India. I am becoming less confident I will be able to get a new pinion set. They sent one over at $200 shipping alone and it was wrong. I have taken it to several machine shops and they will not touch it. I have been 3 months without this tractor and need to get it going.
