Clint, What I would do is find a little mom and pop machine shop that wants to help you and wants your business. Then have them weld a bead on the end of the shaft with a hard surfacing rod and build it up. The center points seem to still be there to line up on. Turn it down to the original diameter and then cut your circlip or snap ring groove. Should fix it as good as new if the rest of the pinion is ok. If you don't have anyone there that will do it I know a machinist in Albuquerque that can do it or make the whole thing. Although making the whole thing could be quite expensive.
