Wow Bama - those bolts are really gone?!! If so your plan's right on. Just hope it's not a case where the bolt heads got sheared off and the threaded ends are still in the tapped holes in the tranny case. If so, you've got a challenge ahead of you!! Be careful about dirt, parts, tools, etc. dropping into the tranny when the cover's off. (The fishin's not real good in there...) Also get some assistance when pulling off that deck plate - it's pretty substantial! BTW - "Cap screw" is a mechanical designer's fancy name for a plain old bolt.... Bob

We had a mixed farm consisting of grain and dairy all done with old machinery and by hand.
