I should have checked before posting. IH did change the bearing but not on all. Earlier models used bearings st208, 10701D which st 225 would work for. st208,A and B were used as a clutch pilot bearing also. Later ST225Y, AT and BT were used, also IH C-225-Z. All the above bearings are unshielded. ST 544 is a sealed pilot bearing the same size. Think the bearing used now to replace ST225BT is ST678. If you look at the price of ST678 compared to some of the other bearings the same size, Its a better quality or a rip off.
