BUT, the suffixes cover things like one side being shielded, etc, perhaps the replacement could be a sealed bearing in place of the original. Such things may or may not effect the proper lubrication, etc. I have not gotten that deep into the charts. I replaced all the bearings in my Super A transmission and final drive. The dealer crossed most of them before I found the charts. They were identical as far as I can tell. I have not yet studied what all the suffixes mean, they are in the introduction to the charts. I will keep that in mind. There was one seal that I got from the charts, using the cross from the IH number. I messed it up installing it, so I ordered one from CaseIH, which was actually cheaper (unusual). It appeared to be a heavier duty seal also.
