Greetings All,
I have an IH 454 diesel tractor with a power steering problem. The power assist for the steering works perfectly when the tractor is cold and gradually becomes harder to steer as the hydraulic oil warms up. The system has a central pump and multi-control valve with a flow divider, oil cooler by-pass valve, check valve and pressure relief valve. The rear 3 point lift works fine and there is no front-end loader on the tractor. Does anyone have an idea of where to start troubleshooting? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
