Hey folks! Trying to get a 1968 Farmall 504 in good working order after it"s been sitting outside for at least 18 mos. Got it running, drove it around in 1st and reverse, then stopped for a while to celebrate. When I got back on I found that the stick is frozen in first gear. Will not budge. How should I troubleshoot? My instinct is to change the transmission fluid and lubricate the clutch according to the manual. Is that a good start, and what are the most likely causes of this problem?
