Re-building a TA can be a spendy proposition... replacing some of the other parts that don't currently exist even more so...tires all the way around can be up in the $700-800 range. Bottom line on this one is that you need to factor these things into the purchase price. I am in the middle of a Super H project and I am looking at spending around $500 just on bits and pieces...no major work. There are a lot of good working tractors in the "hundred" series for $2000-$3000, and I would bet just the work you are talking about will be $1500 minimum up to $2000 or more depending on what it really needs. I bet sombody "canabilized" the TA and then sold the tractor...Be Careful!!
