Hey all. I have a question about the transmission on my 1945 Farmall A. About a week ago, my dad and I drained all the fluid from the rear end and transmission and replaced it with 80/90 gear oil. After changing it I've had a pretty good leak which I've figured was due to old dry seals, etc. At any rate, on Saturday I was mowing and the tractor jumped out of first gear a time or two and then I noticed I couldn't get it into reverse. The shifter won't slide all the way to the right to drop it into reverse. It goes into all the other gears without any issue or problems at all. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I was able to muscle it over and into reverse one time but decided that wasn't a good idea. Thanks for any input.
