I took the shock off my seat to visit the local autoparts store to see if they have some universal rubber bushings for it.
Everything unbolted fine but I am a little stymied by the "barbell" spacer that goes through the eyelet on the top. There is no way it will slide out through the eyelet so it has to come apart - question is how?
I have soaked it a time or two with some lube - any ideas on easiest way to disassemble this thing? Shock still works fine so not really interested in replacing - besides - I am too cheap as well...too much German/Czech blood in the system.
