I was removing the LP regulator off of my M to give to the guy I sold it to and it has a pipe threaded adapter that goes to the standard flare line that threaded into the metal piece that is in between the two short radiator hoses on the bottom of the radiator. Now it is leaking as this was a pretty shoddy connection to begin with. Should I just pull this 90 degree piece out and epoxy this adapter in so that it doesnt leak anymore?
When I tried teflon tape it just got torn up on the jagged thread. Or can this cast iron 90 degree piece be found cheaply somewhere?
