I found a what I was told is a 450 cam for $150. I know I am going to have to put new lifter's in with any new cam. The engine is farmall m engine with a 4 1/8"bore 281ci a 8060 head mild port job and fire crater piston's. I am pulling stock RPM for fun and the tractor still see's field use so I need it to be able to lug down low. And what are the casting number's on a 450 cam? I know they are the same lift of a stock M cam but they have 10 deg more duration. Is their an easy way to tell a 450 cam from a M cam beside's the casting #'s?
