450 cam number's

I found a what I was told is a 450 cam for $150. I know I am going to have to put new lifter's in with any new cam. The engine is farmall m engine with a 4 1/8"bore 281ci a 8060 head mild port job and fire crater piston's. I am pulling stock RPM for fun and the tractor still see's field use so I need it to be able to lug down low. And what are the casting number's on a 450 cam? I know they are the same lift of a stock M cam but they have 10 deg more duration. Is their an easy way to tell a 450 cam from a M cam beside's the casting #'s?
 
Part number by IH was 48196DBX, also required LH thread nut 368598R1, this was correct for M,SM,SMTA,400,450 all gasoline (M also kerosene,distillate) or any with LP fuel. They determined under heavy hyd pump on live pumps that the nut rh thread was backing off. IH number system in parts tells that original design 48196D was improved to DBX, 368598R1 was part originally introduced on 450 series.
 
There was a engine serial # break on C281 engines. Original cams in a C281 before the break had right hand threads, after the break they used left hand threads. That cam also started being sold by IH as a replacement cam for C248, C264 and C281 engines.
If the cam is a original IH cam, it will have the numbers 48196DA or 45995DA for a right hand thread cam. 48196DB or 45995DB for a left hand thread. Have also found aftermarket or reground cams with IH # 48196DB or other numbers stamped on them. M time period C248 engines came with 48196D or 45995D cams, C264 Supers also. C264 engines with a higher serial # than 136XXX (can't remember the exact #) came with 48196DA or 45995DA cam. All numbers are off the top of head, think I remember them and they are correct. If there's a question I can look to make sure.
 
Correction, should have looked the numbers up last night instead of depending on memory. All 45995 numbers posted above correct to 45955. Engine serial number break for left and right hand thread cams in a C281 is 9861 and higher came with left hand.
First production installed 45955DA cam in a C264. engine # 136834 up to C281 9860.
