I waver back and forth on this all the time and maybe some of you nice folks can help me out. I, like most of you I'm sure, have had a long love affair with the Farmall Cub. I have never owned one but, for as long as I can remember, I have long wanted one "of my very own." I see guys mowing with them and I really am jealous! Some guys dream of owning a Corvette. I've always wanted a nice shiny red Cub. (Incidently, my wife just doesn't understand this fascination.) Anyhow, I'm finally now in a position where I think I might be able to justify it to the wife (3.5 acres of mowing.) Here's the problem...despite my undying love for these machines, I'm not exactly what one might call "mechanically inclined." I know for certain I could never entertain the thoughts of a restoration project. So...if I were ever to fall into one that was in working order, should I "go for it?" Is it something that will be a complete source of frustration for me or will it be something I be glad I did for years to come? I'm just wondering if I'm thinking with my head or heart. Any thoughts you might be able to provide are welcome. It's bitter-sweet reading this forum day after day, wondering if I will someday be one of you. I'm sorry if this all sounds too corny but I need to know before I jump into the Farmall world. Thanks guys, Gary in PA

The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
