Your tractor may be in industrial M. IH did make those I've seen one or two of them. Some had 6 blade fans and maybe other modifications such as a foot throttle, etc. These were just the industrial version of the M same as they made an industrial version of the A. There should be an engine serial number on the block. I think it is located on the left side, stamped in a raised location near the front of the block. This would not be the same as the tractor serial number, but should not be too far off. You can tell the year of manufacture from the casting codes.
