look carefully on the right frame rail, near the front of the engine. The serial number is stamped in the top of the frame rail with stamps about 5/16" or so high. This is the same number that was on the tag.
The late F20s had some different features than the earlier ones. My 38 has a throttle that is operated by a push pull rod, like an F12, and not in front of the steering wheel like the spark advance lever. Mine also has cast iron wheels with demountable rims, like an H only different. Some had foot operated brakes.
