Wardner, Guess I don't explain good enough in my posts. Part # 369694R91 is available from any case IH dealer, Messicks lists it at $58.06. But that gear is not a replacement for tach gear housings that have the notches on the OD. Near The end of 350,450,etc. production IH changed the gear and housing for the second time and added a retainer to go in housing to keep gear from moving forward and back in the housing. New housing is smooth on the OD and no adjustment of gear clearance was made. Shaft hole is in the center. Don't know why the parts never made it to the parts books, but a replacement package was released and sold under part # 369964R91 to replace all previous tach drive parts after old stock was sold out the old parts (part # you posted) were no longer handled and you were to replace with the package. Package is NLA. unless you find NOS. Package contained part numbers, housing-369692R1 which is NLA. unless NOS. over $150 when they last sold them. Retainer-369693R91, Think there's still some around but it won't do you any good without the housing. Gear 369695R91 which can be purchased but won't work in a standard size old tach gear type housing thats in good shape. Some old housings are worn so bad they can't be used to install a 369695R91 gear in with modification. Unless Case IH has changed them the 369695R91 gear has a metal covered shaft instead of all plastic. On the W400 tach install, numbers I posted were for a W400 tractor, before that serial break I don't think a tach was offered for the tractors and the shrouds didn't have a hole until after the serial break I posted. IH may have sold a tach package with a template for putting a hole in early shroud housings.

The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony. The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
