Gene, these do look much like the pictures I have seen of "B" front gangs. I have never seen "C" front gangs configured like this. The B, H, and M used this configuration with the flat brace bar and diamond main beam (see pg 30 of Updikes book). The C turned the main beam 45 degrees to make the surface flat instead of the diamond appearance seen here and the brace was a 3/4" round bar. The bolt pattern on the front is different for a C and I believe that only two of the bolt holes line up. Looking at Updikes picture, the frames could very well have worked on the B, H, or M. They look a lot like the frames pictured there and if you look close, there are multiple mounting bolt hole configurations.
