i was thinking that when the tractor was up to operating temp the sleeve should expand it self to fit snugger in the block bore.if you stuck your fist in the sleeve and try to pull it up with resistance it should be ok on these old engines. remember new rings and new honed cyl. will be snug till its worn in. but if you can just pull it out with 2 fingers thats not good either. i guess you have to make a desition for your self when not planing on spending fistfulls of money.i am not in agreement of glueing them either.if it was mine i would just use a bit on the btm.of sleeve and let the expansion do its thing at the top where the fire is.
