i took the cover off the top of governor, where the pipe goes to front of head,, i can control the carb and speed of engine thru there , so i must be in tang ,there is probably 5/16 play or more in vertical rod from governor, wheni got this tractor it never ran so i don't know the story but i suspect there maybe a problem with governor all the external linkages are right i'm stumped i thought i would take teh cover off governor and see if something is loose any suggestions thanks jim
