Tim - That's about my experience with the Super M.
Working hard (plowing/fitting) it will use a bit over 3 gals/hr. OTOH just potting around pulling the hayrides at the Christmas tree farm the SM runs all day (8 hours) on about 8 gallons.
For comparison in the same amount of time on the hayrides my Minne-Mo U and a pair of JD A's will use around 10 gals each; the JD 3020 gas will burn almost 14 gals.
