The kick-off pressure is increased, an improvement package (15261-E) was made available which permitted increasing the kick-off pressure of the earlier pumps. Lift-all pumps of early manufacture were set to kick off at 450 to 500 pounds pressure in the system. Later Lift-Alls are set to kick off at 750 to 800 pounds pressure. These higher pressure units can be identified by a yellow figure 8 painted on the outside of the reservoir.
Anyone heard of this before?? Anyone ever upgraded their pump??
I'm not seeing any mention of kickoff pressure versus pump pressure. Kickoff is the thing where the control rod is automatically kicked out when the implement tops out. I think you could override it but maybe not. (No manual handy right now)
