This is my first attempt in restoring a tractor and have a few questions. I noticed in my parts book that IH made 2 different styles of front rims for the H. One is called an adjustable front rim which has what would be the clamps welded/rivetted into the rim itself. I have seen this style on a '45 and also a '46. Then, the other type has the individual cast clamps that hold the rim and wheel itself together. I have seen this type on some smaller tractors (A and B) at shows and also on a '44 H. Were either of these types available as an option at any time during the manufacturing of the tractors or was there a serial number break from the factory? I am curious and somewhat confused because I don't see anything in my parts book that splits the options up. Thanks for your help. Aaron
