You need to get the right tee for the bottom of the fuel vent. It has a restricted opening in the top of the tee that screws into the fuel vent. This ensures that there is more pressure in the line to the carb than to the vent. With your regular pipe fittings the path of least resistance is to the vent so when you are going uphill, gravity will pull more fuel to the vent than to the carb. I have two F-12"s and one has bubbles and the other does not. It doesn"t appear to affect the operation of either one. I suppose if there is an air leak in the line from the tank to the pump you will see bubbles. But on the other hand you should see a gasoline leak at the same point when it is not running. I would check all of your connections.
