i have a 37 f-12 distillate, and have a problem with it running out of fuel when i go up a hill. the brass tee at the bottom of the vent housing in the hood between the pump and carb was replaced with pipe fittings at some time in the past. it has lowered the feed line to the carb so it is level. could this be the problem? i've rebuilt the pump and the carb and it runs great on the flats. i also have bubbles in the sediment bulb on the fuel pump. is this normal or do i have another problem? thanks for any help!
