Hi, the 424 has one hydraulic pump with a flow divider controling the rate of flow for power steering and 3pt. The hydraulic filter is on the return hydraulic return line in the hydraulic housing to right rear of gear shift lever. There is also a hydraulic pressure relieve valve in the hydraulic housing under the seat. It is difficult to diagnose your problem but some things to consider: 1)Has the hydraulic filter been cleaned recently? 2)Does the power steering work OK?
Could be a worn pump but if power steering works OK then possibly be faulty priority valve or pressure relief valve. You will require a hydraulic flow and pressure guages to diagnose the problem.
