I restored my great grand fathers 1955 I had the same question. after research and a lot of questions. I determined that from the factory all 300,400 were all red. the 350 450 were red with a white grill and a white pannel on the side where the farmall letters were. now explaned to me is that dealers had left overs when the 350 450 came out so to sell them they were permitted to make them look like the new ones. Mine is this way and was purchased new this way. so I restored it this way you can decide for your self my opinion is that mine should be this way.
