If the plugs are "dry", one sure way to tell if you have it set up right is to spray a small amount of starter fluid down the air cleaner tube (before anyone flames me for saying this, if he has flat pistons, he has about a 6 to 1 compression ratio...this will not hurt his engine). Now, if it "pops" a couple of times with this, open up the carb to about 2 1/4 turns (vs. the 1 turn). Then shoot another hit of starter fluid down the filter tube. If everything is right it will start and most likely run, assuming the carb has been put back together correctly and the float is set right. BobG in VA
