orrosion is caused by electron flow. Cleaning in a damp environment will temporarily fix it, but it needs a clear spray, or terminal spray on it to keep the moisture out. If it goes dead, thee is a drain on the system. It can be tested with a vlot meter set to 2 volts or lower. Disconnect one battery terminal, then check the voltage between the terminal, and the post. If more than .02volts, there is a draw. Disconnect things one at a time to find it. (reconnect as you go) JimN
