Used to see a few of the blocks on 400 tractors in Ohio. They were mounted on engine side of manifold and just clamped on. I have a service bulletin on the heater block. May take awhile to find it, but could mail you a copy. Fax machine is out and never fixed it. Think I remember that certain international 300 manifolds needed modified to install block.
