I went through the adjustment procedure for the clutch, dump valve, and trans brake. This really doesn't seem to help at all.
I would be surprised that it would help anyway since the problem occurs even when the tractor is off. I've been told that I should be able to shift through the gears, as well as shift the range lever while the tractor is sitting, not running, and without depressing the clutch.
I've also found that occasionally the 1-2-3-4 shifter gets stuck as well. None of it moves all that well even when it is working. I've tried lubricating all of the linkage that is outside of the transmission, but I'm starting to think that I'm going to have to go into the range cover and trans cover to locate the problem.
