I have a 1949 H with the lift all belly pump. The pump quit working and started to leak very badly so i took it out and fixed the seals that were bad. I put the pump back in and tried to use it and I get no oil flow from the pump even though when the lever is pulled back the engine pulls down like the pump is pumping out pressure. Is this a relief valve that is sticking open and causing the pump to be in bypass constantly or is the pump just shot? Any help would be appreciated, as the gravel in the yard needs rearranged something fierce, and nothing is happening with a broken belly pump!
