Unless the threads are stripped, the valve you have might be good to use. I say this because it looks (from the photo) that the valve has been both soldered, and brazed into the tank. The solder (silvery color) looks to be on the fitting in the tank, to the tank. The braze looks to be on the valve to fitting. If so the solder will melt first and leave the fitting on the valve. If the valve is leaking, it might be easy to have the needle (turnable part) machined in a lathe to make it new. Good luck, JimN
