The PS pump on it now may be a bit small. (and certainly weak when warm) the 300 pump (on the engine right side) is a 1200 psi unit. (if good) The steering system is not very friendly to loader use. ( I would put a Jackson power steering unit on the tractor if I intended to use it for loader work.) jacksonpowersteering.com. Other than that, I would use a better pump first to see if I could get by. I am not sure what the pressure from the factory steering priority valve in the hydraulics is set to run the steering.
