Okay, I tore into my 300U today and I think it's going to get a new lease on life, although for the time being it's only getting what I can spend on it. With that in mind I'm looking for an oil pan and possibly a head and I'm wondering which other tractors will they fit from? Mainly will those from an H/W4 fit? I think the valves in the head on the H would be a little smaller, perfect isn't in the picture at the moment so will fit will do.
Just about everything on the tractor is stuck (including, amazingly enough, the oil pump) but I think this is because everything is very tight. It's still on its original set of bearings with no noticeable signs of wear. So we'll see what comes of it. Thanks, Sam
