did you check for play on the pinion shafts? (the same shafts the brake disks engage) Having wheel lock up problems on our 656, with what sounded like brakes engaging randomly, turns out the pinion shaft bearing is out on one side and possibly the needle bearing it passes through in the differential case. also dependig how far you dissassemble and which parts you replace, you may need to measure and reshim for bearing play karl f
