Loren, I think the TD-9 diesel engine is similar to the Farmall MD also, but bigger. I just finished rebuilding an MD. Do you have the wires in the right firing order. If it is like the MD the distributor rotor turns the opposite direction of the gasoline tractors, so you need to make sure that the firing order is 1,3,4,2 counterclockwise looking at the distributor cap. Did the fire cause any damage to the butterfly valves in the intake manifold? All I can think of other than just out of time. Roger
