I just installed a new alternator on my Farmall H and all new wiring. I installed an alternator light coming off of my excite wire to one side of the new warning light and on the other side of the warning light the wire runs to my switch. Well, last night when I turned on the switch the light did not come on but the H fired right up. The light never came on and I checked the wiring connections and the bulb and they are good. I was looking at my alternator paperwork and it said...W291A, UNIVERSAL HARNESS TO INSTALL "IG"/"R" -"L" ALTERNATORS ON VEHICLES WITHOUT "NO CHARGE" INDICATOR LIGHT...Does this mean a light will not work? Thank you for your help....a little frustrated with it.
