For the life of me I can't find the thread where I read a conversation about VR's failing, and where some recommendations were made as to the type to get. In the OEM catalog they sell a 12v VR that fits on top of a generator. I'd like to get one that goes on top, but I have questions:
1) Is the one sold by OEM a good VR? If not, what should I be looking for?
2) What are good economical sources to get a good 12v VR?
