John has the good idea. I removed the head. Made a 4x4 to fit in the piston hole. Spray with wd 40. Have a friend bump the starter and you hit the top of the piston with the 4x4 using a sledge hammer moving from piston to piston. Don't be easy. Hit it. When it starts to move,stop and clean the cyl walls with a flap wheel and go again cleaning as you go. Worked great for me and with new gaskets the tractor runs great. Cliff
