What I did was to flip over the old bracket, angle pointing up ward. lightly bolt the bracket in place bolting through the back hole of the bracket to the front hole on motor. I then tack welded a tail on the back pointing towards the driver about three inches long. Once drilled and finish welded every thing lines up nice. It still uses the original belt lenght. This sets the alternator quite abit higher in the hood and no cutting on the hood.
