I'd fix it. Do it right and you'll never have to worry about it again. The manifold can be rethreaded, and a new pipe might sit a little lower in the manifold, but you'll never know it. HINT, you will want to bolt the manifold to the engine before attempting to rethread it. You'll never be able to hold it still otherwise.
