I have two M's. One is a '48 and one is a '52. I have an Allis-Chalmers, 3 bottom plow that I have used on my tractors (both have 3pt hitch). I have lots of power to pull those plows through my fields, but it will depend alot on the type of soil you have. If you have hard, dry, clay you will probably have more trouble than if you have nice dark soil. I also have a set of tandem 16' discs and also a huge set of chisel plows. I use all of these implements on my farm with my M's, usually in 2nd or 3rd gear. If anyone tells you your healthy M won't pull these things, they are wrong. The M has alot of torque!
