bc, the difference is the thickness of the mounting plate. The sn break is 13011 that used the 12 gal pump and 15 tooth pump gear, later used 17 gal pump and 21 tooth pump gear, this is with 540 pto tractors. I don't know the thickness of plate, but parts book shows 1 1/2 inch mounting bolts on older one and 1 7/8 on later. Only spacers I ever encountered were the different thickness mounting gaskets to adjust gear backlash. You do need a filter though as a lot of trash, like chips of gears and bearings from trans are always making their way through.
