Like MN Red said or the low pressure pump might be out. Check the return line can you blow air through it? If it is plugged will not run as to much pressure in pump. Is the throttle pulled open some. I start ours with the throttle wide open then as it starts move it back to an idle to prevent running wide open cold. Change the fuel filters if not done already.
