My 826 was spinning just fine up with an old Continental battery. Uses one 12 volt. I put in my pickups battery but it still just turns real slow. Not near enough to start it. All the cables are good. Does a starter motor on these go out like this? There's a new solenoid but I am guessing the old starter motor was just painted. Can there be something grabbing inside the tranny? It was running and starting fine a couple of weeks ago.
