Here in SE Indiana, there were several of 340 utilities on the farms around. My uncle had one and ground feed with it, although you had to feed the corn in slowly. It would do it without overheating, though. Handy tractor--- the only thing his could have used was power steering, which I think was an option. There are still 3 utilities I know of in use. As for the row crops, I can't recall anyone around here ever having one, but there were several 504 row crops.
