Ya must be talken about the shifting fork in the range transmission . If ya have the cover off it can be changed by just sliding it back enough to lift out the fork . Did ya pull the cover off the side to expose the reverse shifting fork or is that the fork that is broken . Ya have to be more clear on what fork is broken for me to help .
